| Clayton's Ribs and Chicken is the real deal. After spending five minutes with owner Steve Clayton Sr., you will come to the conclusion that he is one of the most friendly persons in town. Steve has an intense passion for food, and the person to thank for that is his mother Tiny. At a young age she taught him all of her secrets, and today it shows with his incredible hickory smoked meats. You will be hard pressed to find anything tastier for miles. Steve keeps things authentic by using hickory and cherry wood. Take one peak into his smoker and your mouth will start to water. The smell is strong enough to drive a hungry person insane. You better be careful when holding the meat because it may just fall off the bone. Steve's barbeque sauce is arguably the best in Fort Dodge. His meat is so scrumptious that sauce is not necessary, but why miss out on the total Clayton experience? |
